Does PerfectQuote work with the carriers and systems my agency already uses?

TL;DR: Yes — PerfectQuote is carrier-agnostic and integrates with key agency systems

PerfectQuote users highlight time savings on renewals, elimination of manual data entry, carrier-agnostic access, and a support team that actually understands insurance as the top benefits. Common tradeoffs include a required onboarding period, no free trial, and some plan types that aren’t yet supported.

PerfectQuote is built for benefits brokers who are serious about efficiency — and it delivers. But like any platform built to handle the complexity of group health insurance, it takes some upfront investment to set up and learn. Here’s what agencies consistently say after using PerfectQuote — the wins and the real-world tradeoffs.

Carrier Support

PerfectQuote works with any carrier

PerfectQuote is fully carrier-agnostic. There are no preferred carrier relationships, no commissions, and no overrides. Brokers have unbiased access to the full market — the platform doesn’t favor one carrier over another.

The Proposal Reader supports 400+ carrier formats

PerfectQuote’s proprietary Proposal Reader automatically reads and extracts plan details and rates from carrier proposal PDFs. It supports 400+ carrier proposal formats across:
  • ACA / small group medical
  • Fully funded and level funded / alt-funded medical
  • Large group underwritten medical
  • Dental
  • Vision
  • Basic Life and Voluntary Life
  • Short-Term Disability (STD) and Long-Term Disability (LTD)
  • Supplemental Health: Accident, Critical Illness, and Hospital Indemnity

If a carrier sends a proposal in a format PerfectQuote doesn’t yet support, the team evaluates additions based on client feedback. PerfectQuote actively listens to customers and continuously makes improvements based on what agencies actually need.

Which carriers are supported?

PerfectQuote supports all medical, dental, vision, voluntary life, basic life, STD, and LTD carriers offering underwritten plans via the Proposal Reader. For a full list or to ask about a specific carrier, contact the PerfectQuote team or ask during your demo.

Geographic availability

PerfectQuote is available in all 50 states for ACA small group quoting. However, some states have limitations due to carrier data availability. Mississippi, Massachusetts, and Florida have historically been more limited markets. If your agency operates primarily in these states, discuss specifics with the PerfectQuote team before committing.

RFP workflows for carriers

For carriers, PerfectQuote’s RFP Workflow delivers broker requests directly to carrier inboxes — no portal logins required. Carriers reply via email with their proposals in the formats they already use. PerfectQuote’s Proposal Reader then normalizes the data so it’s instantly broker-ready.

Carriers also receive daily lead reports showing where their quotes were included, how they compared against in-force plans, and win/loss insights to inform future proposals.

Agency management system (AMS) integrations

Employee Navigator

PerfectQuote integrates with Employee Navigator, one of the most widely used benefits administration platforms in the market. The integration allows brokers to:

  • Import groups and census data directly from Employee Navigator into PerfectQuote
  • Keep enrollments synchronized between both platforms
  • Eliminate the duplicate data entry that comes from managing group setup in two separate systems

For mid-market agencies already using Employee Navigator, this integration makes PerfectQuote a natural extension of the existing workflow rather than a separate tool to manage.

BenefitPoint (Applied Systems)

PerfectQuote integrates with Applied BenefitPoint, a widely used agency management system. The integration allows brokers to:

  • Send sold plan details from PerfectQuote to BenefitPoint
  • Import group and plan data from BenefitPoint into PerfectQuote
  • Keep AMS records up to date without manual rekeying

For agencies using BenefitPoint, this integration significantly reduces the administrative overhead of keeping data synchronized across platforms. Read the case study to see how agencies have used this integration to improve efficiency and support growth.

Epic / Applied (Coming late 2026)

An integration with Epic/Applied — one of the most widely used enterprise agency management systems — is currently in development and planned for late 2026. This will allow for:

  • Lead management and sales tracking between PerfectQuote and Epic
  • Group tracking and plan data synchronization
  • Import of groups and plans from Epic into PerfectQuote

If your agency uses Epic/Applied and this integration is important to your decision, contact the PerfectQuote team to discuss timing and specifics.

What PerfectQuote does not currently support

Employee Navigator

  • ICHRA-specific workflows are not part of PerfectQuote’s current supported product scope.
  • Stop-loss/self-funded quoting is still a product gap.
  • Worksite benefits are not fully supported beyond the initial supported lines of coverage: Accident, Critical Illness, and Hospital Indemnity.
  • PerfectQuote currently documents integrations with BenefitPoint and Employee Navigator; other AMS or integration requests should be confirmed during the demo.
  • Product direction is influenced by customer feedback and roadmap priorities.
