PerfectQuote does not offer a free trial or self-serve setup. Every new agency goes through a structured onboarding process that includes a welcome call, live training sessions, and online courses. The recommended implementation window is 4–5 weeks — and agencies that follow the process consistently report a smooth launch and strong long-term results.
Group health insurance quoting is complex. State rules, carrier nuances, plan types, contribution structures, and agency-specific workflows all vary significantly from one firm to the next. PerfectQuote is built to accommodate that complexity — which means there’s real configuration and learning involved in getting set up correctly.
Skipping training leads to mistakes, frustration, and underutilization of the platform. Requiring it is how PerfectQuote ensures agencies actually get the time savings and accuracy they’re paying for.
The support team brings this approach from personal experience — every member has worked in the benefits insurance industry, so they understand what a successful implementation actually looks like in practice.
After contract execution, PerfectQuote’s customer success team reaches out and schedules a welcome call. This call covers your contract details, the services you’ve subscribed to, and the full support model. Your team is introduced to the platform and the resources available to them.
Depending on your subscription tier, you’ll receive one or more live training sessions tailored to your agency’s markets and book of business. These aren’t generic walkthroughs — the training team digs into your specific carriers, plan types, and workflows.
Online training courses are also available for self-paced learning alongside live sessions.
Agencies use this period to run real groups through the platform, get comfortable with the Proposal Reader, RFP workflows, and presentation tools, and work through any questions before going fully live.
Weekly office hours — open to all clients — provide ongoing support during and after this period for any ad-hoc questions that come up.
ACA+ and Flagship subscribers receive dedicated live training sessions as part of onboarding. ACA subscribers have access to online training courses and office hours but fewer live touchpoints.
Agencies with larger books of business, multiple offices, or more complex plan mixes may need additional time to fully configure the platform and get all team members trained.
The biggest factor in a fast, successful implementation is how quickly your team engages with training. Agencies that dedicate focused time in the first few weeks consistently launch faster and get more out of the platform sooner.
If you’re starting implementation heading into Q4, give yourself extra runway. Trying to learn a new platform during your busiest time of year is harder than building familiarity during a slower period and hitting the ground running when renewals pick up.
Onboarding doesn’t end at week five. PerfectQuote provides ongoing support for all clients through
Customers frequently note that the support experience continues to be a differentiator long after implementation — not just a one-time onboarding assist.
